Marketing teams have a lot on their plate. I said it and I stand by it! Between chasing quality leads, keeping up with trends, and trying to stretch a budget that’s already feeling tight... it’s a lot. Some pitfalls below and tips on rejiggering to come.
Here’s what usually trips folks up:
Lead Generation - Not just more leads - better ones. The kind that actually convert, not just click.
Audience Targeting - The digital world is noisy; finding your people (and actually connecting with them) is harder than it looks. Algorithms shift, behaviors evolve - and suddenly, your perfect buyer’s gone ghost.
Content Creation - Coming up with content that doesn’t just check a box but actually connects? That takes time, skill, and a strong espresso.
Budget Blues - You’ve got big ideas, but the budget says “not today.” Making magic on a shoestring is practically an art form.
Staying Current - Marketing never sits still. If you’re not keeping up, you’re falling behind—and we don’t do “behind” around here.
Marketing moves fast. Blink and there’s a new platform, tactic, or acronym. Staying ahead means being curious, agile, and not afraid to try something fresh.
Want help turning those hurdles into wins? That’s kind of my thing. Watch this space.
